June 3rd, 2020: SweGaN AB, a manufacturer of custom-made GaN-on-SiC epitaxial wafers based on a unique epitaxial growth technology for RF and power components and devices, today announced that SweGaN is selected as one of the Nordic region’s 50 leading companies in the Techarenan Challenge 2020 (web-article in Swedish).

For the seventh year, the Techarenan Challenge  entrepreneurial competition has been launched for Nordic companies in the start-up and growth phase, regardless of the industry. – “We are needless to say quite excited to be named in the top 50 of Techarenan Challenge 2020 – a prestigious program aimed at highlighting the most innovative companies, says Olof Kordina, CEO, SweGaN. 2019 and 2020 have been particularly inspiring years for SweGaN with the launch of new products, global recognition of SweGaN research projects, strong annual results, a number of prestigious awards, and rapidly growing brand recognition in the global market.”

– “We are looking forward to participating in the final round of the Techarenan Challenge 2020 in November.”

Events to select the Techarenan Challenge 2020 “Startup Company of the Year” and “Growth Company of the Year” 2020 will take place in Stockholm on June 9-10 and on November 13, where the 50 finalist companies will pitch to this year’s jury.
