National Roundtable on Semiconductor Strategy

SweGaN joins a roundtable discussion on Building Sweden's National Semiconductor Strategy on 10th October.

SweGaN is proud to announce that Dr. Anders Lundskog, our R&D Manager, will represent the company at a pivotal roundtable discussion on October 10th at Goto 10 in Linköping. Hosted by Svensk Elektronik and Semicon Sweden, the event focuses on “Building Sweden’s Semiconductor Strategy” and brings together key industry voices to shape the future of the nation’s semiconductor ecosystem.

While Sweden is renowned for its innovation, challenges remain in translating research excellence into industrial strength. As SweGaN CEO Jr-Tai Chen emphasized during a recent event at Linköping Science Park, “Sweden leads in R&D, but lags in manufacturing,” highlighting the urgent need for strategic national support to bridge this gap and build a robust local value chain.

Dr. Lundskog will share SweGaN’s journey in scaling GaN-on-SiC technology, offering insights into how deep-tech innovation can be transformed into industrial impact. The roundtable offers a unique platform for contributing to Sweden’s long-term strategy in semiconductors and fostering collaboration across the sector.
