We specialize in developing and producing GaN on SiC epitaxial wafers using our patented growth technologies and extensive knowledge in wide-bandgap semiconductors. With a strong fucus on environmental sustainability, SweGaN is committed to reducing energy consumption of power electronics with innovative material solutions.

2014
Spin off
Spin off from Linköping University research group led by Professor Erik Janzén and including co-founder Dr. Jr-Tai Chen Ph.D. student at the time, passionate about commercializing research on MOCVD growth of GaN–based high electron mobility structures
2018
Launched QuanFINE®
Launched groundbreaking patented epitaxial solutions of “buffer-free” GaN-on-SiC epiwafers, QuanFINE®
Entered numerous programs
