Quality Manager

The Company

SweGaN is a European semiconductor manufacturer specializing in high-performance epitaxial wafers based on our ground-breaking GaN on SIC technology. Our custom material solutions power the next generation of RF and power devices.

SweGaN’s products are used for a wide range of applications, including 5G telecommunications infrastructure, defence radar, satellite communications, electric vehicles, high-voltage switches, and more. SweGaN’s QuanFINE® epitaxial growth technology increases the performance of RF and power devices and reduces energy consumption.

The Role

We are now looking for an experienced Quality Manager with strong leadership skills and a proactive mindset to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our industrial projects and operations meet the highest standards of quality, health & safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, fostering a culture of quality awareness, and supporting our long-term sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management Systems.
  • Oversee audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
  • Manage ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Interface with government and certifying bodies as well as customers.
  • Implement process improvements using Lean and/or Six Sigma.
  • Lead non-conformance reporting and corrective action processes.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in quality management from process industry or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Swedish HSE regulations.
  • Experience with IATF 16949 standards and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and MSA is highly valued. Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • The employment is full-time and permanent. Starting date by agreement.
