Our Story

With rich origins, SweGaN was founded by a team of researchers at Linköping University’s internationally distinguished technology department bringing unique expertise in both GaN and SiC technology. Today we are proud to produce benchmark-performance GaN-on-SiC epiwafers based on our ground-breaking QuanFINE™ growth technology. SweGaN supplies high quality Gallium Nitride to the industry’s leading foundries and custom-made materials to manufacturers of leading components and devices for satellite, communications, and defense organizations. Our next generation materials are employed by world’s foremost manufacturers of power electronics – used in electric vehicles, solar inverters and more.
